This Statement of Privacy applies to the NFRW website (NFRW.org) and governs data collection and usage. By using our website, products and services, you consent to the data we collect and how we use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the data we collect and how we use it, you should not use this website or our products and services.

Collection of Your Personal Information

The NFRW website may be used without entering your personally identifiable information. However, the NFRW may seek to collect from you personally identifiable information at various points throughout the site, as detailed below.

The NFRW collects personally identifiable information from members and guests who become a registered user by setting up a user account on our website. The following information is required to set up a user account: name, street address, email address, and user name and password.

Registered users who make a financial transaction (e.g., renewing membership dues, registering for an event, making a donation, or purchasing a product) are required to submit their occupation and employer (mandated by the IRS), as well as their credit card information and billing address.

Registered users who are registering for an event will be asked to supply certain information, such as dietary restrictions.

Registered users can choose to submit optional personal information, including demographics and biographical data.

Web Forms and Public Message Boards/Comment Sections

Website users – both registered and unregistered – can voluntarily submit personally identifiable information (e.g., name, city and state of residence, email address) by completing a web form or posting on a public message board or comment section on this website.

Please note that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through a public message board or comment section, this information may be collected and used by others.

Opting Out of Online Services

The NFRW Member Directory is available on the private member website. When a member joins a local Republican women’s club (members of local clubs are also members of their state federation and of the NFRW), she is automatically included in this Member Directory, which is accessible only to members. The Member Directory includes a member’s name, club of membership, city and state of residence, and email address. If a member chooses to upload her biography and photo on her User Account, these items will also appear in the Member Directory. A member can remove her listing in this Member Directory at any time by logging into the NFRW website, going to her User Account, and then to the Opt In/Opt Out Selections screen. For further assistance, please contact us.

The NFRW Email Network is our primary means of communicating with members and distributing digital publications and content. When a member joins a local Republican women’s club (members of local clubs are also members of their state federation and of the NFRW), she is automatically signed up for this free service. A member can unsubscribe from this service at any time by scrolling to the bottom of any of our emails and clicking the “unsubscribe” link. For further assistance, please contact us.
