Bettye Chambers of Buford, Georgia, taught Business Ed and Computers at the high school and college level for many years. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Business Education, M.S. in Communications and doctoral work in Business Communications.
Chambers is a Regent and member of the Board of Directors of NFRW and serves as the Greater Gwinnett Republican Women’s Corresponding Secretary and Webmaster. She has served as Secretary of the GA Federation of Republican Women and GFRW Webmaster. She currently is Communications Director and Webmaster for the 9th District Republican Party of Georgia, a member of the GA GOP State Committee and webmaster for Georgia's National Committeewoman.
She was an alternate delegate to the 2004 National
Convention and was an officer and webmaster for the Hall County
Republican Party In October Georgia Lt. Governor Casey Cagle named
Bettye “Honorary GA Senator.” The Honorary Senator program is an
effort by Cagle to recognize and reward outstanding Georgia citizens
who are involved in their community and the political process.
Bettye and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter,
son-in-law and two wonderful grandsons who reside in nearby Suwanee.
