A seven-term elected member of the City of Stamford's legislative body, Barbara McInerney served as Republican Leader, Minority Leader and chairman of board committees. She served for 11 years as an elected official responsible for administering state and federal election laws and conducting national, state and municipal elections.

Barbara also has served two terms as president of the Connecticut Registrars of Voters Association, as chairman of the Registrar of Voters Certification Commission, and as a state teacher responsible for training and certifying election officials.

As president of Connecticut FRW, Barbara used her organizational skills and training to help rebuild the organization. She is past president of the Stamford WRC, and has attended many NFRW conventions and campaign schools.

Barbara resides in Stamford, Conn., with her husband, Daniel.
