Carol Meny has been a member of Greeley Republican Women’s Club
since 1983, holding numerous club and state offices and
chairmanships. She chaired the Credentials committee at the 2005
NFRW convention and the Teller/Elections committee at the 2007
convention. Meny has been a Regent for 12 years.
Previously chairman of the Barbara Bush Literacy Committee, she was
appointed chairman of the Literacy committee (combined Barbara Bush
and MELP) in 2006. Initiatives under her leadership include NFRW
Literacy Month, “One Book, One NFRW”, and the Dictionary Project.
Meny is active in many local and national campaigns and civic
organizations. She received a BA degree from Colorado Woman’s
College and taught kindergarten and first grade before owning a
preschool and daycare center.
An avid tennis player, needle worker and traveler, she is married to
Alan, a retired Air Force officer and her greatest supporter.
