From 2005 to 2007, Joyce M. Phillips served as secretary on the NFRW Executive Committee.
Phillips has devoted much time to the NFRW as a member and
officer at the local, state and national levels. She travels
throughout the country speaking to various Republican women's groups
and conducting membership rallies. She has co-authored a book with
fellow member Toni Phillips titled, "How to Attract Blacks to Your
Republican Candidacy."
Phillips also has been involved with many organizations that foster
good citizenship, including the Parent Teacher Association, the
Young Women's Christian Association and the National Association of
Business and Professional Women.
A native of Jackson, Miss., and a graduate of Jackson State
University, Phillips has worked many years in management and
currently is managing trustee for Denham, Spencer, Jackson, Cousseau
& Patterson Trust. She and her husband have one son.
