Martha Jenkins was elected NFRW member-at-large at the 36th Biennial Convention in Kansas City and took office in January 2012. She is director of NFRW Region 5, which includes Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. In addition, she is secretary of the North Carolina Republican Party.
Jenkins served as NFRW 3rd
vice president in 2010-2011 and was director of NFRW Region 4.
From 2003-2007, Jenkins served as president of the North Carolina
FRW. In 2005, she was a finalist for the
NFRW Ronald Reagan Leadership Award, and in 2007 she won the Reagan
Award as the outstanding state president for 2006-2007.
During her tenure as president, the North Carolina Federation won
the Betty Heitman State of Excellence Award in 2005 and 2007, and
first place in the State Public Relations Award in 2007. Jenkins also
started the North Carolina Federation Regents Program. She worked
with the state's Republican legislators to pass Jessica’s Law in
2008. During the fight for Jessica’s Law, she appeared on "The
O’Reilly Factor" on Fox News.
Jenkins is married to Ed Jenkins and they have two daughters,
Kimberly and Mary. She owns and operates Flags Over America and also was an underwriter for 14 years with Fireman’s Fund
Insurance Company.
