Huda Jones of Kentucky In 1992, the NFRW headquarters was moved to its current home in Old Town Alexandria, Va. Determined to pay off the $860,000 mortgage on the historic structure (which is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings) during her term, Jones set about to raise the money by allowing states to "purchase" rooms and also by seeking contributions from clubs and individuals. By 1993, the goal was met and the mortgage burned.
