Past Presidents and Founder
Shirley Sadler of Ohio
Sadler served as president during the NFRW's
70th anniversary,
which was celebrated at the Palmer House in Chicago, the site of
the NFRW's founding in 1938. Sadler also launched the
Building Renovation Project
in 2009 to raise money to restore the Federation’s historic
national headquarters in Old Town Alexandria, Va.

| BIOGRAPHY Shirley Sadler was elected NFRW President at the 34th Biennial Convention in Palm Springs, Calif., and served from 2008 to 2009. She also served as 1st, 2nd and 4th vice presidents, and as director of Regions II, III and V. She has served on numerous NFRW committees, including Resolutions, Public Relations, Fundraising, Finance and Budget, and Survey and Research. At the state level, Sadler served two terms as president of the Ohio FRW, as well as 1st vice president, legislative chair and on the Public Relations, Fundraising and Membership committees. In addition, she was honored at Ohio FRW’s Tribute to Women. In Warren County, Ohio, Sadler served as president of Warren
County RW, as county chairwoman and as a
member of the central and executive committees. She has worked on
numerous campaigns and has served as a poll worker, headquarters
volunteer and on many committees for the county party. |
