Women Republicans of Cleveland County (WeROCC) was founded in 2013 by founding President Kathy K. Allen. Today the club has 25 members.
The club met its RISE award in 2018 with 35 members and was instrumental during the 2018 elections, changing 87 Democrats to Republicans on their voter registrations. All Republican candidates won over their Democrat opponents in Cleveland County.
The club meets the second Thursday of every month at the V.F.W. Post 4066, 855 W. Sumter Street, Shelby, NC 28150. Current president is Marge Hooper. More information is available at www.WeROCC.com or on the club's Facebook page.
