Rosie to Rally Midwestern Battleground States in Last Days of Campaign
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) is taking its nationwide “Destination: White House” campaign back to the Midwest for the final weeks of the election cycle.
Through Election Day on Nov. 8, Rosie – the NFRW’s red, white and blue campaign RV – is traveling to rallies and other events in the key Midwestern battleground states. These rallies and events will feature NFRW President Carrie Almond and other NFRW leaders, as well as local Republican elected officials, and GOP and Federation leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign Rosie.
Since the tour launched from Missouri in May, Rosie and the NFRW have traveled more than 28,000 miles to 39 states in the Midwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southern, Western and Southwestern regions to rally thousands of attendees behind Republican candidates and to encourage local Republican women’s clubs in their grassroots and voter registration efforts.
“Women's voices and votes are making the difference in this election, and we are committed to ensuring the NFRW does everything possible to bring home victories from the courthouse to the White House,” said NFRW President Carrie Almond, who introduced Rosie and the tour to a national audience at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
