 National Federation of Republican Women
Honors U.S. Troops, Families on Veterans Day

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sue Lynch, president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued the following statement today:

“On this Veterans Day, the National Federation of Republican Women pays special tribute to our military men and women, both retired and currently serving, as well as their families. Their service and sacrifice deserves our eternal gratitude, and we offer them our most sincere thanks for protecting our nation and its citizens. And while we recognize that this is a special day set aside for them, the NFRW is committed to supporting our troops year-round through a series of programs and initiatives. Supporting our troops and their families is one of our primary missions as an organization, and we will continue to honor our brave men and women who so selflessly put their lives on the line so that we may continue to live in freedom.”

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
