National Federation of Republican Women
Congratulates New Republican Party Leadership

Looks Forward to Working With Priebus, Day Toward Victory in 2012 Elections

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sue Lynch, president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued the following statement:

"On behalf of the NFRW, I send hearty congratulations to new Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus, of my home state of Wisconsin, and Co-Chair Sharon Day of Florida, a devoted Federation member and former club president who also served as our honorary convention chairman in 2009. The NFRW looks forward to working with you over the next two years as we aim for victory in the 2012 elections."

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
