National Federation of
Republican Women
Pays Tribute to Our Fallen Military Heroes ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sue Lynch,
president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW),
issued the following statement in recognition of Memorial Day on
Monday, May 30:
“This Memorial Day, the National
Federation of Republican Women pays tribute to our deceased men
and women who bravely and proudly served our nation in uniform. We
wish to express to their families and loved ones that we are
eternally grateful for their service and sacrifice, and that we
will continue to honor their memory through a series
of programs and initiatives. Supporting our troops and their
families is one of our primary missions as an organization, and
we will continue to recognize our brave men and women who so
selflessly put their lives on the line that we may continue
to live in freedom.”
In March, Lynch and other NFRW leaders
participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the
Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of
active members in local clubs across the nation and in several
U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political
organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works
to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican
Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through
political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness
of women in the cause of good government.
