Dec. 31 Named 'Sue Lynch Day'

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has honored National Federation of Republican Women President Sue Lynch by proclaiming Dec. 31 as "Sue Lynch Day" in the State of Wisconsin.

A resident of Onalaska, Lynch will conclude her successful two-year term as president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) on Dec. 31. Under Lynch's dynamic leadership, the NFRW improved communications and outreach efforts, enhanced public relations and fundraising efforts, expanded national media exposure and usage of social media tools, and significantly increased overall membership and clubs across the nation.

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country.
