Presidential Candidates Invited to Address
National Federation of Republican Women

Romney, Paul Welcomed to Spring Board Meeting in New Orleans

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Rae Lynne Chornenky, President of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), announced that Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have been invited to address the organization's spring board meeting, scheduled March 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans.

"We were delighted to welcome Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum to our fall convention, and now we're hoping to hear from Governor Romney and Congressman Paul, as well," Mrs. Chornenky said.

Other invited speakers include several Republican elected officials from Louisiana: Gov. Bobby Jindal, U.S. Sen. David Vitter, and the Republican delegation to the U.S. Congress. For more information about the meeting, visit www.nfrw.org/programs/events/board_meeting.htm.

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
