The NFRW Americanism Committee is encouraging clubs to contribute funds to help erect a national memorial in honor of Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States.

Each contributing club will receive two points on the 2016-2017 NFRW Club Achievement Awards. The memorial will be located on a four-acre urban park, Eisenhower Square, located on Independence Avenue, SW, at the base of Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. The memorial commission’s website says the purpose of the memorial is to “honor Dwight D. Eisenhower and inspire future generations with his devotion to public service, leadership, integrity, life-long work ethic, and his total devotion to the values and processes of democracy.

Please write your check to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission and mail it to the NFRW, Attn: Eisenhower Memorial, 124 N. Alfred St., Alexandria, VA 22314. More information about the memorial: www.eisenhowermemorial.org
