The New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women (NHFRW) hosted former Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers for a "FITN Women's Voices" roundtable at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics.

The United States observed Gold Star Spouses Day on April 5 in honor of the surviving loved ones who lost their military member spouse in the line of duty or as a result of service connected injuries and illnesses.  

On March 9, the Minnesota Federation of Republican Women hosted its annual Day at the Capitol event, which was very well-attended despite weather forecasts.

The Tennessee Federation of Republican Women's Annual Ladies Day on the Hill was Monday, March 27, with 220 in attendance, including state legislators and other dignitaries.

 

April has been designated as the Month of the Military Child since the 1980s. It is the special time to recognize the sacrifices made due to deploying parents and frequent moves to new locations, sometimes to foreign lands, requiring the leaving of school and friends because of their parent’s military commitments.
