BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

HIGHLIGHTS:
The NFRW
Board of Directors met in Washington, D.C., in mid-March
for the spring board meeting. More than 220 NFRW leaders
attended the meeting, which featured several prominent
Republican officials and leaders.
William Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard, and Jo Ann
Davidson, co-chairman of the Republican National
Committee, addressed the importance of the upcoming
elections, while U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and
White House political director Sara Taylor briefed
attendees on the latest from the nation's capital.
Author and political commentator Linda Chavez discussed
the effect of immigration policy on the Hispanic vote, and
Army Spc. Rob Lauer updated attendees on the
American Victory Project. Other speakers included
former White House assistant press secretary Adam Levine,
author and political consultant Craig Shirley, and Rich
McKeown of the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services.
Also during the event, the board addressed routine
business and passed seven resolutions recognizing
President George W. Bush, the women of Iraq, former NFRW
leader Dodie Londen, National Women's History Month and
several key women leaders of yesterday and today, our
troops serving overseas, and the need for stronger laws to
protect children from sexual predators. To read the

In addition, attendees participated in a workshop on the
New Generation Republican Women initiative and were
introduced to the "One Plus One" membership program.
