REPUBLICAN WOMEN OF HUNTSVILLE
The Republican Women of Huntsville celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2013. As the largest Republican women's club in the state, we host both monthly luncheon meetings and bi-monthly breakfasts to accommodate the needs of our 350 members.
Our members have a wide range of activities to choose from, including a book club, fashion show and charity gift wrap. The club provides the primary staffing for our local headquarters. We actively raise funds for Republican candidates and causes all over the country, and our members volunteer thousands of hours in support of our party.
Each year we rent a booth at the annual Space and Missile Defense Conference in Huntsville, where we distribute GOP literature and get out the word about Republican support for these vital missile programs. In March, we awarded the inaugural Grace McRee Scholarship to a very deserving Republican high school senior. To fund this scholarship and other projects, we will finish the year with our 30th anniversary celebration - a tasting party featuring the recipes from our cookbook, "It's Our Party!" Above, Cindy Gallagher, Kathy Linden and Marcia Parsons operate the club's booth at a 2nd Amendment rally in Huntsville.
We invite all Republican women in the Huntsville/Madison County area to join us. The Republican Women of Huntsville DO make a difference! For more information, visit www.rwhal.org.
