PUENTE HILLS REPUBLICAN WOMEN FEDERATED
This year, Puente Hills RWF marked its fifth
annual community service project. The Soup Tasting event is a public
awareness event for the service area that encompasses 11
communities. The event is held at the administrative office of Meals
on Wheels. While it is not a fundraising event for Meals on Wheels,
it yielded $1,600 in donations this year, two volunteer drivers, a
potential recipient and several new donors.
Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant, Olive Garden, Soup Plantation and Marie Callender's, where Puente Hills holds its monthly meetings, remain loyal soup donors to this event each year.
