The Delaware Federation's first club was founded in Sussex
County. Additional clubs were quickly established in the other
counties and the Delaware Federation then affiliated with the NFRW
in 1952. Through the ensuing years our projects have been varied,
compelling and remarkably successful.
At this time the established Unit Clubs in our Federation proudly
participate in community service projects. They enthusiastically
support a variety of Americanism programs. In 2007 they helped to
sustain the National Wreath program which places beautiful hand made
wreaths at Arlington cemetery, as well as throughout other national
cemeteries in the U.S.
The Delaware Federation promotes both learning and understanding the
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag in schools and they distribute
small American flags to each student participating. Members
enthusiastically volunteer in every county helping in campaigns;
promoting candidates at every level and "Getting Out the Vote".
Known as the Diamond State, we are small in size, but we
industrially combine our attributes to make an effective and
productive Federation.
