PRESIDENT'S BIOGRAPHY

Rebecca was born in Texas but grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she met and married her husband, Garry.

Rebecca and Garry live in Corpus Christi and own a staffing company, Unique Employment Service, and a human resource outsourcing company, UniqueHR. They have two sons, one daughter-in-law and one grandson.

Rebecca has served as county vice chairman, election clerk and judge, delegate and alternate delegate to state and national Republican conventions, and on the Mighty Texas Task Force. She served on the TFRW Board of Directors for six years as district director and awards chairman, and for 10 years on the board of the Nueces County Republican Women in several offices, including president.

FEDERATION PROFILE

The Texas Federation was founded in 1955 and affiliated with the NFRW the same year. TFRW has 31 districts and 164 clubs.

Clubs participate in voter registration and outreach activities, the TFRW PAC fund, get-out-the-vote and candidate recruitment efforts, campaign management schools, political rallies, forums and legislative day events. Members help furnish volunteers for local, state, and national campaigns and legislative hot lines. In addition, members participate in patriotic community service projects such as the TFRW Barbara Bush Literacy Library, Career Women, Caring for America, Senior Americans and Young Women.
