Wood County Republican Women's Club of Ohio was recognized for its achievements in engaging and helping to elect local and county officials.  

Marilyn R. Baker of Walbridge, Ohio, was the first woman elected to the Wood County Commission.

Wood County Republican Women's Club of Ohio would like to recognize and celebrate our Republican club leaders. Once a week during March we will highlight our elected officials and celebrate their success as Republican Women.

The Wood County Republican Women's Club closed out an active and successful year with our Fall Dinner, Election and Awards. Our speaker for the evening was political cartoon satirist Gary Varvel.  

Wood County Republican Women's Club of Ohio celebrated its sixth anniversary at Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg. The original club began in 1935, so we have a great legacy to live up to. The club was rechartered in 2016. The club also awarded two $1,000 scholarships to female high school graduates who will attend college this fall.
