It’s that time of year. Large farm equipment is traveling local roads for spring soil preparation and planting season. It is easy for drivers to get frustrated when caught behind something going less than 25 miles per hour, but try to take a breath and be patient. Your life and the lives of others may depend on it.

The National World War I Memorial, erected in Pershing Park in Washington, D.C., to honor the 4.7 million men and women who served in the First World War, was dedicated on April 16 and opens to the public on April 17.

Homes For Our Troops builds homes for severly injured Veterans and stays with them for a three year timeframe to ensure success.

As March is Women's History Month, it is time to reflect on the women who have served or are currently serving our country. We have a number of women veterans throughout the NFRW.  The NFRW Armed Services Committee extends a big “Thank you for your service” to each of you!

We need to be thinking of our service members (active, reserve, guard and veterans) during this time of unrest. Service members are still deployed in the Middle East, the National Guard is still in Washington D.C., and many of our veterans are struggling. So lift up your voices in prayer.
