The NFRW includes state federations with local clubs in communities across the country. Joining a local club is a great way to participate in the political process at the grassroots level and to network with other women in your community. Members of local clubs are automatically members of their state federation and of the National Federation of Republican Women. Dues at the local level vary, but will include national membership dues, which are $10.00 per member annually.
National Associate Membership
If you would like to become involved in the NFRW but are short on time and cannot commit to club meetings and activities, National Associate Membership is ideal for you. This membership status gives you insight into national issues, legislation and candidates through our national magazine, comprehensive web site and national board meetings and conventions.
To become a National Associate member, sign up online or send a check for $50 payable to the National Federation of Republican Women, Attn: Membership Director, 124 N. Alfred Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. You will immediately become a member of our vast national network. Note that membership dues are based on the calendar year one joins, not on the calendar month.
Student Associate Membership
Student Associate Membership offers college women an opportunity to become part of the Federation. This category is designed for college women who do not have a local club near their campus or who cannot commit to a local club during their studies.
It is open to any woman attending an undergraduate or post-graduate college or university. The cost is $15 per year, and an applicant must provide annual proof of enrollment (a current student ID or class schedule). The NFRW will inform state federations of any student members in their area and also will help student members make the transition to a local club upon completion of their studies.
New Generation / College Republican Women
In 2005, Indiana FRW launched New Generation Republican Women (NGRW) to give young Republican women a voice in the community and in statewide politics. In 2006, the NFRW took Indiana's program nationwide. The goal of this program is to help states establish New Generation Republican Women's clubs, which are geared toward women up to 40 years old, and College Republican Women's clubs, which are established on campuses and are led by and for students.
