Good Grief, yes. Get this bruhaha over with. The disgusted level of feeling toward government in general is running too high. It's detrimental to our FORM of government and allows extremism thinking to take firmer root. Congress needs to get a better grip on their appointed and legitimate function and the President needs a better grip on practical politics. Take what you can get now , keep working on it, and move on. NOW!

It's too fast, too soon. There should be a week extension of gov't. funding so that the legislators themselves as well as their staff can actually read the bill and so we, the people can get some details. "The devil is in the details."

I am so glad that President Trump will read (or have his staff read and report to him) the DHS bill. May we all pray that God helps him in making the decision of whether to sign. Like President Trump says, there may be landmines in te bill. Congress could pass a continuing resolution if President Trump found some changes that MUST be made. Congress could make changes and repass.

I believe the President should sign the bill absent any landmines. But he should also seek funding elsewhere for our borders. To think any elected official would not support border security and stand with the American people is mind boggling. I am also saddened by the lack of support our party's elected to date have shown our President. The first President in my life time to do what he said he was going to do.

I will have to leave it up to his judgement. I know he will do what is best for the country. I wish he didn't have to because I think they are still trying to get rid of him.
