PRESIDENT'S BIOGRAPHY

Darcy Kruitbosch actively serves the Republican Party in a variety of roles at the county and state levels and and serves on campaigns for quality Republican candidates. She believes wholeheartedly in the Republican Party philosophy and platform.

Darcy is a life-long resident of Weber County, Utah. Her husband, George, is a retired police officer and currently works for the State of Utah. They have six children and one grandson. She holds a master's degree in accounting with an emphasis in tax from Weber State University and currently works as a full-time tax analyst for a global corporation and operates a small home-based business.

FEDERATION HISTORY

Although the Utah Federation was not formally organized until 1941, the Republican Women's Club of Salt Lake City was established more than 100 years ago. The state is divided into three districts and has seven clubs. 

In addition to fund raising and working to elect Republicans at all levels, members participate in get-out-the-vote efforts and serve on the State Convention Credentials Committee. Clubs support Utah First Lady Jacalyn Leavitt's "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons" project and promote "Shine a Light for Freedom" to encourage Republicans to turn on their porch lights on Election Day to remind neighbors to vote Republican. The Utah Federation worked to change the state election process to ensure Party stability and lobbied for legislation that benefits children.
