Senator Schumer needs more than censure. If he had said those statements on the floor of the Senate, there would be no problem - political speech is protected by the first amendment. But he made his disgusting statement in the midst of a protesting crowd in front of the Supreme Court building. He should be jailed for incitement to do harm or removed from office at the least.

Everyone should write to their senators expressing their outrage. I have written to both of my senators, even though they are both democrats. Senator Schumer's comments were vicious and reprehensible and should not be ignored. He should suffer some consequences. Imagine the backlash if a Republican made such comments.

He should have to resign. If it was a Republican, it would be demanded. He threatened Kavanaugh and Gorsuch by saying don’t know what hit them! The public reacts with their verbage like with Scalise being shot.

Being censured is the very LEAST that should happen to Chuck Schumer. I believe he should be asked to step down from his position in the Senate. I’m sick and tired of the double standard between Democrats and Republicans. Nothing EVER happens to Democrats in Congress who make these kinds of disgusting and hate-filled remarks. Democrats are ALWAYS allowed to skate free with no consequences whatsoever. What Chuck Schumer said was extremely dangerous and supremely irresponsible, as a leader of the Senate. Schumer gave Democrats the green light to attack people who don’t hold their liberal point of view. Trump supporters are already being attacked around the country, and this just increases the national danger and intimidation. If a Republican In Congress made these kinds of threatening, dangerous remarks about liberal justices on the Supreme Court, the Democrats in Congress would be outraged and demand that he or she resign IMMEDIATELY! I am just sick to death of this double standard! Every Republican In America should call their 2 US Senators and demand that Chuck Schumer step down. Explain that what happened to Steve Scalise can happen to Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, and that Chief Justice Roberts was absolutely right when he said Chuck Schumer’s words were DANGEROUS!

Senator Schumer bears much of the blame for the divisive attitudes in this country. As a leading Democrat, he has set the tone for the refusal on the left to acknowledge that Donald Trump is our duly elected President. If he were truly interested in leadership instead of power and truly had our nation's best interest at heart, he and Speaker Pelosi and other Democrats would have accepted the 2016 election results and have made an effort to work with this Administration instead of obstructing it at every whipstitch. His conduct is what's deplorable, not the people who support the President.

I am really tired of the mouths of elected people. They are to be held to a higher standard of Americans. Our young people don't know what to be held to. Censure them and remove them. They don't deserve a tax payer salary. Send them home in shame with other Democrats like Pelosi.
