Yes, the president has the constitutional authority to deploy troops to states in order to protect Federal property. It is unfortunate, in this instance of mayors/governors ignoring the fact that looters, rioters and mobs are NOT peaceful protestors, that the President can NOT send in troops to restore law and order without being asked. I am SO glad I live in East Texas!

As I view the photos from the "protest" areas it is beyond horrendous what has been done to our Federal buildings, our police stations, and all the businesses and homes where people live, work, and need to shop. Even churches and religious figures have been damaged. Some areas look like, and literally have become, a "war zone!"

I can only hope that the America-loving citizens of all parties are seeing this and determined to vote out the Socialist/communist mayors , district attorneys, etc. that have been financed by Soros, etc. and re-establish the real America. I pray that our great president will act with strength to stop this, to the fullest extent he can under the Constitution, and that he will be supported by and re-elected by a resounding, uncontestable majority! We surely need a third Great Awakening to restore our spiritual foundations before we can hope to restore our physical foundations! God save our president and our country!

Trump not only has the authority to protect federal buildings, but it is his obligation to do so as well. When local police are not up to the job of defending federal property (or have been ordered not to protect federal property), the President is obligated to move in federal officers who can and will do the job.

Federal property belongs to the US citizens, and is maintained by those of us who pay federal taxes. If, for example, the mayor or governor allows the building to be set on fire, it is our tax dollars that would be spent to rebuild it. Since it is cheaper to prevent arson than to rebuild after it, prevention should always be the highest priority.

But the Governors and Mayors of these areas where federal property is under attack are well aware of that fact. They only oppose federal help because it is Trump who is sending them, If Obama were sending in federal officers, they would be writing him perfume-scented thank-you notes.

Should the President initiate action to quell violence and protect federal property? Absolutely. Does President Trump have the constitutional authority to deploy federal agents to American cities to quell violence? Determining his constitutional authority to take such action is a question for lawyers who specialize in constitutional law.

Yes, I believe the President has the right to protect & defend federal property in the states. The tax payers (home owners, business owners, etc) in the cities being damaged by looters & rioters should have a voice in accepting federal law enforcement, not just the elected officials who may be making decisions based on politics not what's good for the law abiding residents.

Yes, per the Insurrection Act of 1807.

Yes, the President is sworn to protect the citizens of the United States against Invasion and domestic Violence. What is happening in our cities is violent rioting NOT protests. The constitution guarantees every State a Republican Form of Government, but when Mayors and Governors support the terrorists, I think they have failed in their duties and help must come from the President.

Best womens electric shaver are a godsend in today’s fast paced world, and they make shaving so much easier. Shaving can be a hassle that takes up too much of your time, and the results may not be what you want when using a traditional razor. Those who want the best possible results should consider using an electric shaver instead.
