I would have voted NO to virtual debate, but if that is all that is available, then I vote YES to participate.

This morning's news report indicates that President Trump has decided not to participate in a virtual debate; hence, this question appears, at least for now, to be moot.

Although I understand the reasons for not wanting to participate in a virtual debate IF that is the only option than Trump should debate. More time questions are posed to Biden the better!

Unfortunately, it's too easy for Joe Biden to use the computer to get help in the debate by using online prompts and information. Therefore, I don't think a virtual debate is an acceptable format for the President.

At this point it seems Trump has ground to make up. So he needs to take every possible opportunity to get his message out. But he has to be smart and do it right. It's not easy when Biden lies with every word he speaks. He should be coached by Pence.

It is my understanding that this decision for virtual debate is being forced by camera crews and venue staff refusing to show up for a live debate amidst COVID fears. Change the venue!! Hire people that are willing to work and aren't afraid of their shadows! I think it is too important that the candidates face each other real time and not be given the chance for input via computer or campaign people "assisting" with coaching answers and statistics out of the public view.
