The United States now has talented, dedicated women currently serving in our nation's military by their own choice! They are represented in all the ranks and services, and are serving the nation well! We do not need to mandate nor require our females to register for Selective Service when they turn 18 years old!

I'm strongly opposed to forcing women to register for the draft. If the need ever arises to call draftees into service, women would be called up along with the men. While there are women who serve admirably in the armed forces, they do so voluntarily. Women, on average, are not as strong or as physically capable as men. There are exceptions, of course, but when calling draftees into service, they don't know which women are strong and physically robust, and which are 5'0", weighing 95 pounds. The military requires a physical strength and stamina most women are incapable of achieving. Further, drafting mothers of young children is detrimental to societal cohesion.

I'm in favor of women joining if they felt called to do so, but oppose their mandatory inclusion. If women are drafted at random, The purpose of the military should be to create the strongest fighting force possible, not to experiment with progressive social ideology.

As a former Army officer, I believe 18-year-old men and women should register for Selective Service as part of their civic responsibility. It is also a life-changing experience, providing young people with maturity, confidence, job skills, and valuable benefits. A Pew Research Center article from 12/9/2019 is titled "Veteran households in U.S. are economically better off than those of non-veterans." The study found that this was especially true for households of blacks, Hispanics, and high school graduates, resulting in a higher median income of $20,000 per year.

The Women's movement, which in my opinion has done more harm to women than good, has made this inevitable. Yes, register women if there is ever another draft. Or, draft only women. They are more than equal to men, aren't they?

the conundrum - wrongfully, genders and God-given roles no longer exist in this once "nation under God" - all those who pledge/pledged allegiance to the flag of the United States and what it stands for - have been beaten down in an emotional war - send them in equal in all aspects to experience white privilege and woke combat

We (women) have demanded equal rights in the work-place, voting, and all areas of life that are easy and safe. How can we not also expect to be equal in those areas that are more difficult and dangerous? Yes, if men are required to register, so should women be.

Male soldiers are required in the country, as well as female soldiers. Convenience and priority should be given to women. basketball legends
