There is more to the supply chain issue than empty shelves at the grocery store. a. are they holding the non-vaccinated hostage demanding vaccinations so that people can feed their children? b. over regulation in the trucking industry has lead to a shortage of available drivers (will have to go to college to get CDL) as well as having to have extra clearances to get onto the docks if the containers were there. c. Price of fuel is shutting a lot of trucks down as the freight charges being paid are not keeping up with the cost of turning the key on a semi. d, this is messing with the entire world economy as those ships sitting in the ocean are delaying deliveries to other countries

Not just grocery store shelves but big box hardware stores such as home Depot and our paint suppliers are very low on pivotal building and maintenance products, along with our paint suppliers like Miller and SW being out of tint to make color matches. We are finding the smaller stores like the neighborhood Ace hardware still has plenty of stock of these same items. The explanation was surprising by Ace hardware store owner....their PO requirements are smaller and therefore able to still be fulfilled. This seems like more manipulation than true scarcity. We are experiencing the same with appliance parts....the little local shop has what we need even when manufacturers 800 #'s and websites are out of stock.

Yes, in popular items and cleaning supplies.

I myself am stocking up some. Thinking of Latvia and wondering how bad it is going to get here.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing blog that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free.
