I am very concerned that they will push through some sort of election reform that will be federally controlled even though the US Constitution is emphatic that elections are state matters. The Dems are concerned about the upcoming elections and are thus causing all sorts of gerrymandering in districts to edge out Republicans especially conservatively thinking Republicans even in the "reddest" state--Wyoming. Individual state women's groups must actively watch your legislatures and Secretary of State to make sure they are not allowing mail-in ballots except for absentee ballots that have been verified by signature/in-person requests, as well as secure digital control of vote counts.

This threat exists because McConnell and 18 other Republicans have caved at several key votes and shown they are more inteterested in their big donors and Washington elite culture than in preserving the rights and freedoms of limited government enshrined in our constitution. The Democrats are doing exactly what they promise. We are being lied to and betrayed by Republicans.

There also aren’t enough Democratic votes to change the Senate rule. I do not think it will push thru.

I am confident in Sen. McConnell's leadership. The Democrats do not have the votes to get this done and Republicans will protect the filibuster.

There aren't enough Democratic votes in the Senate to amend the rules. I don't believe it will pass.

This is an area that we need to take a stand at all local levels. Republican poll workers are needed throughout the country. At least we can have our people at the grass roots to identify voter problems and report to Secretary of State offices. We need more people to be proactive with their national officials. This is major problem unless we take a proactive stand.

Sometimes opportunities come during official work. Your boss will probably give you a list of things to do in a day. The important thing is how to finish your tasks in time with the highest quality.

Several constitutional amendments (the Fifteenth, Nineteenth, and Twenty-sixth specifically) require that voting rights of U.S. citizens cannot be abridged on account of race, color, previous condition of servitude, sex, or age (18 and older); the constitution as originally written did not establish any such rights.

Senate Democrats are desperately searching for a way to pass voting legislation amid pressure from President Joe Biden, but the path ahead looks increasingly grim with influential moderates Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema unlikely to support a rules change necessary to get the bills over the finish line despite a frantic lobbying campaign from their own party.
