Congress should indeed continue to investigate the unidentified spacecrafts. We do not yet know whether they are friend or foe, nor what they are capable of. If it were merely to satisfy idle curiosity, it would be a waste of resources. But since this clearly has the potential to effect national security, ignoring the situation would be like sticking our heads in the sand.
