Slated Position: NFRW Third Vice President

 

Carol Hadley has been a member of the Federation of Republican Women for over 40 years, having been a member in California, Oregon, Wyoming, Texas, and Washington. During the 2020-2021 term, she is serving as NFRW Campaign Committee Chair. Previously, she served as NFRW Member-at-Large, assigned as Region 1 Director for Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and Oregon; NFRW Caring for America Chair, 2014-2015 and 2016-2017; and, as a member of several NFRW committees. She has been an NFRW Regent for nine years.

Previously, Carol was president of the California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) and president of the CFRW Central Division. She served as a CFRW legislative analyst, and as a member of many CFRW and CFRW Central Division committees. Carol founded Latinas United Republican Women Federated, the only Latina RWF club in California. 

Within the California Republican Party (CAGOP), Carol served as chair of the Volunteer Organization Committee and as a member of the Drafting and Rules committees. She is a CAGOP delegate and was elected as a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2012, 2016 and 2020. Carol has served in many capacities on federal, state and local campaigns, including as a campaign consultant and campaign manager. She served as the executive director of the San Joaquin County Republican Committee three times.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Carol earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Eastern Oregon State University and an associate’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University. 

Carol has led or served on many non-profit boards in Stockton. For 13 years, she co-chaired the local American Heart Association Pro-Am Golf Tournament, which raised $1 million. She has been honored as the San Joaquin Lions Volunteer of the Year, African-American Chamber of Commerce Woman of Color, and San Joaquin County American Heart Association Volunteer. In 2014, she was recognized in the Congressional Record by Congressman Jeff Denham, and in 2013, by Assemblywoman Connie Conway and state Senators Jean Fuller and Bob Huff with a California Legislature Assembly Resolution. In honor of her service as CFRW President, she was recognized with a California Assembly Resolution and other awards.

Encouraged by her parents to “be a participant in life and not a spectator,” Carol is a realtor with Art Godi Realtors and serves on the Central Valley Association of Realtors Diversity Committee. She was married to Jerry Hadley for 34 years until his passing. She is the mother of two sons and two daughters. Upon marrying Jerry, she gained three new daughters. The couple adopted two daughters in Stockton.
