Committee to Nominate Slate of Officers for the 2026-2027 Term

At its spring meeting on Saturday, March 7, the NFRW Board of Directors elected members of the 2025 NFRW Nominating Committee. They are:

Sovilla Mennen, Indiana, Chair
Sharon Boreing, Tennessee
Gay Dillard, North Carolina
Gwen Ecklund, Iowa
Jennie Frederick, Wisconsin
Penny Payne, Mississippi
Zenia Warren, Texas
Melissa Beaudoin, Florida, Alternate #1
Tereasa Rima, Alabama, Alternate #2

In accordance with the NFRW Bylaws [Article VII, Sec. 1], the Nominating Committee will nominate the Slate of Officers to serve the NFRW for the 2026-2027 term.

It's great to see the NFRW already planning ahead for the 2026-2027 term! Selecting the right officers is crucial for the organization's continued success. This committee has a big job ahead of them, and I'm glad to see representation from across different states. It reminds me of trying to perfectly drift a car – you need the right people (or components!) working together seamlessly to achieve that perfect balance. Hope this committee has the focus of a Drift Hunters player and is able to select a great slate of candidates!
