MFRW Legislative Day will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Jackson, MS. Bus transportation will be provided between the Trade Mart Building, the Capitol, and the Governor’s Mansion. The day will begin with our official group photograph on the steps of the Capitol at 9:00 a.m., hearing brief remarks from our state-wide officials, touring the Capitol, and visiting both the House Gallery and Senate Gallery. Additional details are coming soon!
The Legislative Day Luncheon will begin promptly at Noon at the Trade Mart Building, followed by the Tea at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The cost to attend the luncheon is $45 for regular and associate club members. Remember to invite your local Legislators. Their luncheon cost is $30. It is customary for the club to pay for their legislator’s meal. In the meantime, club treasurers may register regular and associate club members to attend the luncheon HERE. Registration and payment must be submitted and received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026.
The First Lady’s Tea at our Governor’s Mansion is 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Register to attend HERE. Registration must be submitted and received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026.
Lanyards and tickets for all Legislative Day events will need to be picked up by each club representative on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the MFRW Board of Directors meeting. They will also be available on the morning of Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Capitol. More details are on their way! Everyone attending the Luncheon and the Tea will need to present a ticket for entry.
