On Friday, there are three workshops planned. Workshop #1 and #2 will be combined to feature the nationally renowned, Leadership Institute’s Heather Sellers, providing vital information and training on a variety of informative topics, including; Grassroots Activism, Campaign Strategy, Communications, Fundraising, and Voter Contact.
Workshop #3 is a panel discussion on Washington agriculture as a part of their statewide Caring for America project, Apples to Wheat - #WAFarms. Moderated by Sue Lani Madsen, Journalist and Rancher, with panelists, Pam Lewison, Washington Policy Center's Agricultural Research Director and Co-owner of JP Ranch, 9th District Representative Mary Dye and Wheat Farmer, 10th District Senator Ron Muzzall, Co-owner of 3 Sisters Farm, and Shelly Muzzall, Co-owner of 3 Sisters Farm.
Friday evening will kick off the Winners’ Circle VIP Reception, followed by dinner. Keynote Speaker will be Michelle Buckwalter-Shurman, 3rd Vice President, and Region 5 Director from the National Federation of Republican Women. Michelle will also install the newly-elected WFRW 2025-26 officers on Saturday.
Saturday is the board of directors meeting and election of officers for 2025/26. The luncehon speakers are club presidents Susan Boiselle and Roxanne Husmann talking about their experiences owning and running farms.
There will be a few surprise guests and other activities. All WFRW members are encouraged to attend.
