Club Hosts Election Law Attorney on "Election Chaos: What Happened and Where Do We Go From Here?"

Brown County Area Republican Women (BCARW) of South Dakota hosted as special meeting on May 6 featuring Sara Frankenstein Hoyt, an election law attorney in South Dakota, who spoke about "Election Chaos: What Happened and Where Do We Go From Here?"

Sara presented the election process in South Dakota and absentee voting and the safeguards SD holds so that our voting process is free and fair. She also discussed some of the downfalls put in place in other states by state officials due to COVID-19 that brought about issues that caused great chaos in the election process. Sara went over some of the law suits in some of the swing states, why they were dismissed, and how the media did not report them properly.
