Club Signs Cards of Gratitude for Veterans
At the September 20th breakfast, Lowcountry Republican Women combined good food and fellowship with a special act of gratitude. Alongside our program, members were invited to sign cards for Veterans Last Patrol, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring veterans in their final days of life.
Veterans Last Patrol serves those who once served us by visiting veterans in hospice care and bringing them comfort, dignity, and recognition. A simple card or note of thanks can mean the world to these heroes, reminding them that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
We are especially grateful to club member Crystal Halley and her daughter, Magnolia, who helped coordinate this meaningful project. Together with our members, they collected heartfelt messages of appreciation, encouragement, and prayer. These cards will be delivered to veterans in their last patrol—a small gesture filled with great meaning.
This project reflects the heart of our club: faith, patriotism, and service. By writing words of gratitude, we remind America’s heroes that their legacy of courage will always be honored.
