In June, the Nez Perce County Republican Women's Club held an America 250 BBQ Potluck. Guest speakers talked about our God-given rights and the people who helped us win and preserve our freedoms. We enjoyed live music and wonderful food and comraderie.
The Republican Women of Williamson County hosted a spectacular America 250 Gala to celebrate our freedom and to raise funds for CreatiVets, a nonprofit that uses music and the arts to help veterans heal and recover from PTSD and traumatic injuries.
The Ashe County Republican Women donated Tuttle Twins Books and Brave Books to Sheri Muma from a homeschool group in Ashe County at the August meeting on August 27. The books are going to worthy students who want to improve their reading and have a desire to learn.
