Club Honors Ambassador Stevens by Maintaining his Grave
Since 2013, Nevada County Republican Women Federated has continuously observed 9/11/2012 and Ambassador Christopher Stevens’ birthday at his gravesite.
Ambassador Stevens was born in Grass Valley on April 18, 1960, and died in Benghazi, Libya, along with three other Americans on September 11, 2012. Stevens is buried in the family plot in the New Elm Ridge Cemetery in Grass Valley. At last, the FBI has arrested a "key participant" in the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.
