Club Kicks Off 2026 With a Bang
Colorado River Republican Women's 26/27 board was installed in December 2025 by Arizona State Sen. Hildy Angius. CRRW is extremely honored to have so many elected officials as members & associates. We also have our County Supervisor, County Assessor, County Recorder, and County Chair of the GOP Central Committee. Five of the seven Bullhead City Council are members or associates (I'm in this group) as well as elected officials from nearby towns as associate members, including four of the five candidates running for the two open state legislative seats, LD30.
Our focus in 2026 is educating the electorate through our informative and timely monthly meetings and working with the local GOP office to get out the vote for Republicans. A good percentage of our members are PCs.
We’re not forgetting about our programs. We donate approximately $8,000 a year in scholarships and to local non-profits, including Shop with a Cop, Nations Finest, Salvation Army, Military Moms, Veterans in Motion and others.
First VP Maria Stanowski is doing a fabulous job scheduling two to three candidates to speak at each meeting. Our 3rd VP and Caring for America Chair Grace Elliott has a fundraiser planned with a local restaurant. Our club will receive 15% of the sales from a specific date and timeframe. Our club has also scheduled a highway clean up in the spring, as well as other opportunities to assist the public through local non-profits.
Scholarship Chair Bonnie Wright, in addition to monthly special raffles for scholarships, has planned two fundraisers, including the See's Candies Yum-Raising Bingo in April with the proceeds benefitting our scholarship fund. On June 9, CRRW is hosting a candidate forum with the five candidates running for the two open seats in Arizona State LD30.
CRRW meets the first Wednesday of each month from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. We average 90-100 people in attendance, so arriving early is highly recommended. There is no cost to attend our meetings, but if you want lunch, there is a fee. Although we may be changing locations soon, we are currently meeting at Chaparral Golf Course and Restaurant in Bullhead City.
