Club Celebrates America's 250th Birthday with Coloring Contest
To celebrate the 250th Birthday of America, Salado Area Republican Women partnered with the Salado Ladies League to sponsor a coloring contest and read historical stories to the students of Thomas Arnold Elementary School. After much deliberation, we have a winner! We received some wonderful submissions to our 2nd Grade coloring contest.
It was a tough decision to choose just one, but in the end, the choice was clear. Alma from Mrs. Craig’s 2nd Grade class was very creative and ultimately won the nomination for 1st place. As the winner, Salado Area Republican Women gifted her family a $50 gift card to the Pizza Place on Main Street, Salado.
