Club Celebrates Stars, Stripes and Sisterhood
The Lowcountry Republican Women gathered on Saturday, June 13, for a festive Stars, Stripes & Sisterhood Patriotic Brunch at East of Eden in Walterboro, South Carolina. Held on the eve of Flag Day, the brunch brought members and guests together for a morning of fun, food, fellowship, and patriotic celebration.
The timing made the gathering especially meaningful. As members dressed in their favorite red, white, and blue, the club celebrated the American flag, honored the spirit of freedom, and recognized President Donald J. Trump’s birthday on June 14. The event also gave the club an opportunity to celebrate an exciting membership achievement: reaching the NFRW Signers Circle membership goal!
As part of the National Federation of Republican Women’s USA 250 Membership Challenge, clubs are encouraged to retain, recruit, and renew as America prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Lowcountry Republican Women embraced that challenge with enthusiasm, using the brunch as both a celebration and a springboard for continued growth.
The patriotic brunch featured coffee and conversation, a red, white, and blue yogurt parfait bar, delicious brunch dishes, and plenty of sisterhood. More importantly, it reflected the heart of the Federation: women coming together to build relationships, strengthen membership, and serve their community with purpose.
For the Lowcountry Republican Women, the morning was more than a brunch. It was a celebration of faith, freedom, friendship, and the future. With growing membership and renewed energy, the club looks forward to continuing its work in the Lowcountry and proudly taking part in America’s 250th birthday celebration.
