Central Florida Clubs Join to Host Blow-Out Candidate Event
On June 10, Lake, Southern Diamonds, and The Villages Republican Women held a joint "Meet 'n Greet Your Candidates" Event. With over 25 candidates and 150 people in attendance, the event was a HUGE success!
Southern Diamonds Chaplain Susan Whalen started the event with a beautiful prayer and the Pledge. Lake FRW's 1st Vice President Sue Parent emceed the event, and Southern Diamonds President Beth Ramsay kept the candidates queued up ready to speak to the audience when it was their turn.
Barbara Amato set up and staffed the SDFRW Bling table, and Fallon Webb and Heather Platz hosted our SDFRW table by the front door and talked with anyone who visited the table. A big thank you to Michelle Schuda, Barbara Amato, Gina Hanson, and Beth Ramsay who worked together to make almost 100 gorgeous purse charms.
At the end of the evening, candidates and attendees were raving about the event's success. Congratulations to Lake, Southern Diamonds, and The Villages Republican Women for a job well-done!
