Club Hosts Annual Red, White, and Blue Event

On June 24, Republican Women of Worcester County celebrated its annual Red, White, & Blue meeting. This year, we chose to have an unforgettable evening of patriotic pride, a great buffet picnic, and entertainment, with 109 members and guests in attendance.

Everyone had an enjoyable evening and celebration. The evening opened with a warm welcome and introductory remarks from the club president regarding 1776 and our need to recommit to the principles that guided our forefathers. She reminded each attendee that America's story is still being written and that we each hold the pen, setting a festive tone for the celebration.

Guests then enjoyed the Celebration 250 Trivia Contest, which challenged everyone’s knowledge of the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution. After dinner, the Delmarva Chorus led a spirited patriotic sing‑along that brought the room to its feet as they sang. Two themed baskets were raffled, one featuring American wines and spirits, and the other filled with Americana treasures.

The event concluded with final announcements and closing remarks, wrapping up a memorable and patriotic evening.
