GOP Team Well-Represented in Longtime Local Event

Members of Ahwatukee Republican Women (ARW) of Arizona and precinct committeemen from the Arizona Legislative District 18 Republican Committee (LD18 GOP) marched in the 43rd annual Ahwatukee Easter Parade on April 20.

ARW and LD18 GOP joined 79 other entries in this Ahwatukee tradition that began in 1976 and draws approximately 10,000 spectators annually. Members of local Teenage Republicans (TARS) and the Arizona Chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA) also joined in the fun.

We even had a FLOAT! Our patriotic float was adorned with red, white & blue and included Lady Liberty, an Eagle, a Patriot & adorable kiddos.

We had over 80 people join us for the parade. Our team waved flags, carried signs, passed out candy and engaged positively with parade-goers. Taking part in the parade was tremendous fun and a wonderful and effective way to spread our message of Faith, Family & Freedom!
