Club Makes Donation to Organization Working to Increase Hispanic Support for GOP

The Montgomery County Republican Women of Texas has been very busy this year. Several of our members attended the TFRW Board of Directors Meeting and Leadership Day in January. In February, we hosted a very successful candidate forum for all of the Montgomery County contested races.

In February, we focused on growing our membership and hosted an event at a local restaurant.  That event led us to registering several new members. In March, several members attended the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women's Nuts 'n Bolts training. That event was chaired by two of our club members, President Alice Melancon and Pearl Maggio. Alice serves as the Texas Federation of Republican Women Vice President Programs and Pearl Serves as a TFRW District Director.

In March, we made a monetary donation to the Hispanic Conservatives of Montgomery County to help in their efforts of encouraging Hispanics to vote Republican.
