Club Hosts Children's Book Author, Donates Books to Local Schools
Greater Fayette Republican Women's Club, Georgia, recently hosted children's book author Bonnie Johnson Fite as keynote speaker.
Bonnie's books are on the NFRW's Mamie Eisenhower Library Project recommended reading list. The club and club members purchased over $400 of Bonnie's books for donations to local K-12 schools. So far the schools receiving donations include Carolyn Montessori School in Newnan and Harp's Crossing Christian School in Fayetteville.
The club has plans to make donations of Bonnie's books to other worthy schools in 2023.
